Cards That Give Back: A Holiday Tradition with Heart

Every holiday season, we’re reminded of the power of connection, how a simple handwritten card can brighten someone’s day, lift their spirits, or make them feel seen. It’s the reason Paperscript exists, and it’s what inspires our Cards That Give Back campaign.
This year, we’re proud to partner with Community Care of St. Catharines & Thorold, an organization that has been supporting individuals and families in our local community for over 100 years. Their programs provide food, shelter, and essential services to help people find stability and independence, and during the holidays, their work becomes even more important.
How It Works
Our Cards That Give Back holiday trio features three cards designed to celebrate the season of giving. With every purchase, 100% of the proceeds are donated directly to Community Care to help fund their ongoing programs and provide local families with the support they need most.
It’s a small gesture with a big impact, proof that something as simple as sending a card can spread kindness well beyond your mailbox.
Why It Matters
For us, giving back isn’t just a campaign, it’s part of who we are. At Paperscript, we believe paper still matters. It connects us in a tangible way, helps us slow down, and gives us space to express gratitude, love, and empathy. The Cards That Give Back collection is a reminder that even the smallest moments of connection can create meaningful change in our community.
Cards that Give Back Partners
We are so proud to be partnering with Dixon Ink in St.Catharines for the printing of the cards for this initiative. We have worked with Ashleigh and her team for years and are grateful for their involvement and support!
Another trusted partner is Elizabeth Jane Studios for all the product photography and donation of her time and talent. We were also about to shoot the photos at the beautiful studio, Largo's Loft. We are so lucky to have Beth in our community and without her support, this initiative would not be as successful.
How to Get Involved
The Cards That Give Back Holiday Trio will be available Friday, November 14 on our website and at select local events. When you send one of these cards, you’re not only sharing a heartfelt message, you’re also helping to support our neighbours through Community Care.
Join us in spreading kindness this season.
Because giving feels even better when it gives back.
